Deploy a blockchain with specific rules and privacy requirements
To see a live implementation of Avalanche, see Athereum, a "spoon" of the Ethereum network.
1. Do you want to use an existing network?
You launch a completely new subnet, or just use an existing one.
2. Do you want to use an existing virtual machine?
Select from existing virtual machines in the plugin store (e.g., EVM, WASM, BTC Script, etc.), or you can choose to build your own.
3. Do you want to import any additional functionality?
Select additional functionality that you may want to import (e.g., Zero Knowledge Proofs).
4. Select a set of validators.
Select a set of validators (by defining them yourself), or make it an open membership, where everyone can bid to become a validator.
5. Do you want smart contracts?
If you need total ordering, choose smart contract functionality. Otherwise, you can leverage a faster implementation for simple commutative operations, such as asset transfers.
It is difficult for people to create new, expressive assets with liquidity and reach. In fact, many types of assets that currently exist are simply not traded in efficient ways.
Digitize and deploy assets through Avalanche's “smart assets” primitive. Do this on a new or existing market that trades these types of assets. Unlike other blockchains, such as Ethereum, digitization of assets on Avalanche can obey special covenants, making it highly suitable for legal compliance.
